In 2004 two friends who had been in the car business for years got together and decided the Treasure Coast needed a used car dealer that could be counted on to provide the public with good rides. Hoyt Roberts and Steve Zimmerman then reflected on just what that meant and Good Rides Inc. was born!

The first store was located just off US 1 on Indian Street in Stuart. After a few years of continued growth and customer loyalty they moved to their present location on US 1 just south of Kanner Highway. A second location was opened in 2010 in Port St Lucie on US Hwy 1 just north of Village Green Drive. In 2018 Good Rides consolidated Stuart and Port St. Lucie operations to make the Port St. Lucie location the headquarters for the entire Treasure Coast region. We continue to serve customers from Stuart and all of the Treasure Coast as well as out of state with an excellent selection of affordable used cars. Since 2019, Good Rides has also created a focus around providing affordable work trucks and cargo vans.

Good Rides' leadership in the used vehicle sales industry was cemented in stone in 2011 when RL Polk and Company, the automotive industry's leading statistics keeper, named Good Rides as the number one used car dealer on the Treasure Coast. In fact, they noted that the only used car dealers out selling Good Rides are CarMax and Off Lease Only!
